Strawberry Lemon Mint Infused Water ~ Steeped strawberries, lemon, and mint in chilled water is a refreshingly delicious way to get your daily intake.
No health claims here of this being a detox water, loaded with antioxidants, or that by drinking it by the gallons, you’ll loose a billion pounds in 30 days.
I simply wanted a tasty way to increase my daily intake. That’s all. So I made this Strawberry Lemon Mint Infused Water. And it hit the spot.
For some reason, despite the high temperatures, I am not drinking water like I should be. I think this is just part of my being distracted with a lot on my professional plate right now. I’ve been slightly negligent with a few things personally, namely some personal time and making sure I keep my water and proteins level high.
Of course every time I recommit to my health, I have to run to the store. Funny how these things work.
I ran to my local store and grabbed all the necessary items I needed.

Ingredients
- 3 cups water; chilled
- 2 lemons
- 5-7 strawberries; plump
- 10-20 mint leaves
- 4 cups ice +/- as needed
Instructions
-
Wast fruit and slice.
-
Wash mint leaves and de-stem
-
In a 2 qt pitcher, add the fruit and mint leaves, ice, and fill to the top with water.
-
Chill for 2-24 hours before enjoying, the longer, the stronger the fruit flavors will be.
-
You can add more water 2-3 more times with the same fruit before the potency is lost and the fruit begins to break down.
-
For really strong flavor, you can muddle everything together, then strain out the solids.
