Foodtrepreneur Festival Salt Lake City UT ~ The 2nd Annual Foodtrepreneur Festival hosted by the Salt Lake Chamber’s Women’s Business Center.A photo essay celebrating The Women’s Business Center, a division of Salt Lake Chamber, 2nd annual Foodrepreneur Festival, an event that showcased 30 Utah food entrepreneurs, at the Leonardo in Downtown Salt Lake City.
Darla and I headed down to Salt Lake City to spend the evening getting to know several local food and drink business. Some were very familiar to us, like Queen Farina and Butcher’s Bunches, both from Logan where we live. Others like Creminelli and 5 Wives Vodka are products we know and love. Then there was a whole host of others we had the pleasure of meeting and sampling (except for the spirit makers, those we had to buy at the cash bar if we wanted to ‘sample’ them-Utah laws.)
By the end of the evening, having made it around to every booth, we left absolutely stuffed but highly satisfied. The future of Utah being placed on the culinary map has never looked brighter. As we were leaving, we happened upon the 5 Wives van and, well, our silly sides came out. It was a great evening and I look forward to getting to know each of these products better.
