Ham Egg & Swiss Croissant-wiches

  • 4 medium croissants; sliced
  • 6 large/XL eggs (8 medium)
  • 4 slices of deli ham; thick
  • 4 slices smoked Swiss cheese; thick
  • Apricot jam
  • Butter
  • Salt/Pepper; to taste


  1. In a pan, heat the deli ham on both sides; set aside.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl with desired amount of salt and pepper.
  3. In a small skillet, add the butter and allow it to melt.
  4. Add the eggs and allow them to complete cook on one side before flipping them over.
  5. Then flip them over and allow them to finish cooking through. Cut into 4 patties.
  6. Layer the cheese on the bottom piece of the croissant.
  7. Place the ham on the cheese, then the egg.
  8. Spread the apricot jam on the underside of the croissant top.
  9. Replace the top of the croissant.
  10. The jam will soften and "melt" as it comes in contact with the hot egg and ham.
  11. Cut and enjoy.
