Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat.

Add the butter and immediately drop the steak.

Do not touch the steak for 3 minutes, allowing it to get a perfect sear.

Flip the steak and allow it to cook for 2-4 minutes, depending on desired doneness.

Remove from pan and allow to rest for several minutes before slicing.

Slice and cut the steak into 1-inch thin strips.
