Frozen Pineapple Margarita

  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • 4 cups fresh pineapple; chopped; plus a few chunks for optional garnish
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice , plus some pulp
  • 1/2 cup tequila silver
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (triple sec or cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup (or simple syrup); more if desired


  1. Add the ice, pineapple, lime juice/pulp, tequila, orange liqueur, and agave syrup to a blender.
  2. Blend until combined.
  3. Serve and enjoy responsibly.
  4. Freeze any remaining cocktail or keep in the freezer until ready to serve. A quick pulse in the blender maybe requires and the juices separate after some time.
