Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips (about 10 strips)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2 gloves garlic; minced/grated
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil; divided 2/1
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds; plus more for garnish
  • 4 green onions; chopped

Instructions

  1. Allow the Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips to thaw enough to cut or microwave for about 90 seconds.
  2. Cut the chicken strips into cubes; set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, rice wine vinegar, and garlic; set aside
  4. In a large pan or wok, heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil.
  5. Once hot, add the chicken, quickly flash frying it, making sure the oil has coated each piece. The chicken should have a slight 'wet' appearance.
  6. Add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil, mix well.
  7. Pour in the sauce and bring to a low simmer.
  8. Add the tablespoon of sesame seeds and half of the chopped green onions, mix well.
  9. Once the chicken is warmed through, serve over rice, if desired.
  10. Garnish with the remaining green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
