Hawaiian BBQ Roasted Chickpeas

Chickpeas soaked in pineapple juice, rolled in Hawaiian BBQ Spices and roasted; the perfect sweet-spiced, no guilt snack.

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.

  2. Soak in the pineapple juice for at least one hour.

  3. Preheat oven to 400°

  4. Drain and pat dry the chickpeas.

  5. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

  6. Drizzle the olive oil all over the chickpeas, taking care that they are thoroughly coated.

  7. Sprinkle the spice blend over the chickpeas and mix well so the spices are coating the chickpeas completely. 

  8. Bake for 15 minutes; stir around to insure even roasting.

  9. Bake another 15-20 minutes or until the chickpeas are browned.

  10. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy.
